Turkey Roll Ups: Easy Holiday Leftover Recipe

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

Turkey Roll Ups are a simple and delicious way to use up leftover turkey, stuffing, and gravy for a hearty meal. Slices of turkey are stuffed with savory stuffing, rolled up, and baked with rich gravy until perfectly heated through. Served with green beans and cranberry sauce, it’s an all-in-one comfort meal. This recipe is perfect for holidays or busy weeknights when you want a fuss-free, satisfying dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 deli sliced turkey or leftover turkey
  • 1 ½ cups prepared turkey gravy
  • 3 cups prepared stuffing (homemade or boxed)
  • 2 cups frozen green beans (or your favorite vegetable)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lay out 2 slices of turkey, overlapping slightly. Place a portion of stuffing at one end and roll up tightly.
  3. Repeat with the remaining turkey and stuffing to create multiple roll ups.
  4. Place the rolls seam side down in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  5. Pour the prepared turkey gravy evenly over the top of the roll ups.
  6. Add the frozen green beans to one side of the pan, season with salt and pepper, and dot with butter.
  7. Spoon cranberry sauce along one side of the pan.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
  9. Serve roll ups with vegetables and cranberry sauce.

Notes

You may substitute deli turkey with leftover roast turkey. If out of stuffing, substitute with cooked rice or mashed potatoes. Use any favorite vegetable in place of green beans. To make ahead, assemble roll ups, cover, and refrigerate up to 1 day before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; reheat covered in the oven. If roll ups seem dry, add extra gravy. For crispier edges, uncover in the last 10 minutes of baking.
