  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add eggs, melted butter, applesauce, brown sugar, and white sugar. Whisk until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
