Description
Peach Pie Cruffins are a delightful fusion of buttery crescent roll dough and juicy canned peach pie filling, all baked into tender, spiral-shaped pastries. Each cruffin is brushed with rich melted butter, sprinkled with cinnamon and brown sugar for a burst of comforting flavors, then dusted with powdered sugar for a bakery-style finish. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup canned peach pie filling
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams together to seal.
- Brush the dough with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread the peach pie filling over the dough.
- Roll the dough into a tight log and slice it lengthwise.
- Twist each half and coil into a spiral shape, then place each spiral into a muffin tin.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
For a homemade touch, substitute crescent roll dough with puff pastry or homemade dough. Swap peach pie filling with apple, cherry, or blueberry pie filling for flavor variety. Cruffins can be assembled ahead and chilled overnight; bake fresh before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days. If cruffins seem underbaked, extend baking time or cover loosely with foil to prevent over-browning.
