Description

Frozen Strawberry Margarita Slush is a refreshing, vibrant summer cocktail featuring frozen strawberries, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup blended into a smooth, icy slush. This recipe is perfect for parties, barbecues, or any warm day. With both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, it balances sweet and tangy flavors and is easy to make in just a few minutes, offering a crowd-pleasing, colorful drink with a festive touch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 2 cups ice
  • Lime wheels for garnish
  • Salt for glass rims

Instructions

  1. Add frozen strawberries, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to a blender.
  2. Add ice and blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy.
  3. Taste and sweeten with additional agave syrup if desired.
  4. Rim the glasses with lime juice and dip in salt.
  5. Pour the slush into prepared glasses.
  6. Garnish with lime wheels and fresh strawberries if available.
  7. Serve immediately with wide straws.

Notes

To make a non-alcoholic version, replace the triple sec and lime juice with 3/4 cup limeade. Frozen raspberries or mixed berries may substitute for strawberries. To make ahead, blend all ingredients except ice and freeze; blend with ice before serving. Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 1 week; re-blend before serving. If the mixture is too thick, add extra lime juice or water. If not sweet enough, add more agave. For salt not sticking to the rim, ensure rims are well-moistened with lime.
