Description

Cranberry Feta Pinwheels with Cream Cheese combine sweet dried cranberries, tangy feta, and creamy cheese with the fresh taste of green onions. Wrapped in soft flour tortillas, they are chilled, sliced, and garnished with parsley, producing beautifully spiraled appetizers that are perfect for holiday parties or casual gatherings. These flavorful bites are easy to prepare, visually appealing, and offer a crowd-pleasing balance of tastes and textures.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped cranberries, crumbled feta, and green onions. Mix well until creamy.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread a quarter of the filling evenly over one tortilla, all the way to the edges.
  4. Roll the tortilla up tightly. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  5. Wrap each rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. After chilling, unwrap the tortillas and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.
  7. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For substitutions, try goat cheese instead of feta, or dried cherries if cranberries are unavailable. You can prepare the rolls up to a day in advance—store tightly wrapped in the refrigerator until slicing. Pinwheels may develop sogginess if left too long after slicing, so cut just before serving. If the filling feels too runny, add a little more cheese or briefly chill before rolling. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
