Description

Crab Crescent Bites are a savory and delicious party appetizer featuring creamy crab filling in flaky crescent dough. Combining lump crab meat, soft cream cheese, fresh green onions, and a dash of Old Bay seasoning, these bites deliver satisfying flavor in every bite. Perfect for gatherings, they bake up golden and are serve-ready in about 35 minutes, appealing to seafood enthusiasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, and Old Bay seasoning until well-blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the crab mixture on each triangle and fold the corners towards the center.
  5. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

For substitutions, use imitation crab or canned tuna instead of lump crab meat; low-fat cream cheese also works well. To make ahead, assemble and refrigerate bites up to 6 hours before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, and reheat in an oven for best texture. If the filling leaks during baking, ensure crescent edges are well-sealed. Overstuffing may cause the dough to tear.
