Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until smooth and well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the caramel bits, chocolate chips (if using), and toffee bits (if using).
