Description
Air Fryer Peaches offer a simple yet delightful summer treat featuring ripe peaches halved and filled with a blend of brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Air frying caramelizes the topping while keeping the fruit juicy and tender, and chopped pecans add a pleasant crunch. The warm, spiced peaches are served with smooth vanilla yogurt for a satisfying dessert or snack ideal for family gatherings or weeknight treats.
Ingredients
- 3 large peaches, halved and pitted
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp chopped pecans
- Vanilla yogurt for serving
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Scoop out a bit of peach flesh from the centers to create wells in the halves.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Evenly fill each peach half with the sugar mixture.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the stuffed peaches.
- Arrange the peach halves in the air fryer basket, cut side up.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, until peaches are tender and the topping is caramelized.
- Let cool for 3 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with a dollop of vanilla yogurt.
Notes
You may substitute honey or maple syrup for brown sugar, and coconut oil or margarine for butter to suit dietary needs. Walnuts or almonds work well in place of pecans. Prepare peaches up to a day ahead and air fry before serving. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days; reheat in the air fryer for best texture. If peaches are underripe, add 1-2 minutes to the cook time; if overripe, reduce by a minute. Streusel or oats may be added for extra crunch.
