Description

Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are savory hand-held delights filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, and Parmesan cheese wrapped in soft biscuit dough. These golden-baked treats combine garlicky meatiness with rich cheesy flavors, perfect for a quick snack or party appetizer, baked to a crispy, buttery perfection and garnished with fresh parsley.

Ingredients

  • 450g ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 60g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 120g cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tin (462g) refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with minced garlic until browned, breaking it up as you go. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Remove skillet from heat and stir in Parmesan and cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
  4. Open tin of biscuits and flatten each one between your palms until about 10cm wide.
  5. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto center of each biscuit. Fold edges up over filling and pinch firmly to seal.
  6. Place bombs seam-side down on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops generously with melted butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley if using. Serve warm.

Notes

For substitutions, ground turkey or chicken can replace beef for a leaner option. Use vegan cheese or omit cheese for dairy-free variations. Make ahead by assembling bombs and refrigerating for up to 24 hours before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. If bombs burst open, ensure dough edges are firmly pinched to seal. Adjust bake time if bombs brown too quickly.
