Description
Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are savory hand-held delights filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, and Parmesan cheese wrapped in soft biscuit dough. These golden-baked treats combine garlicky meatiness with rich cheesy flavors, perfect for a quick snack or party appetizer, baked to a crispy, buttery perfection and garnished with fresh parsley.
Ingredients
- 450g ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 60g Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 120g cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 tin (462g) refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with minced garlic until browned, breaking it up as you go. Drain off excess fat.
- Remove skillet from heat and stir in Parmesan and cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
- Open tin of biscuits and flatten each one between your palms until about 10cm wide.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto center of each biscuit. Fold edges up over filling and pinch firmly to seal.
- Place bombs seam-side down on prepared baking sheet. Brush tops generously with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley if using. Serve warm.
Notes
For substitutions, ground turkey or chicken can replace beef for a leaner option. Use vegan cheese or omit cheese for dairy-free variations. Make ahead by assembling bombs and refrigerating for up to 24 hours before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. If bombs burst open, ensure dough edges are firmly pinched to seal. Adjust bake time if bombs brown too quickly.
